Meizu hasn’t been much in news, lately. Looks like it is silently working on the successor of Meizu MX5 which was announced last year in june. Today, the weibo account of Antutu shared some info about Meizu’s 2016 flagship, Meizu MX6, but the post was later removed.

Meizu MX6 specifications Antutu Weibo post

According to AnTuTu’s claim, Meizu MX6 is going to be first device to run on Mediatek’s latest Helio X20 SoC. We should mention that Helio X20 showed some amazing multi-core performance when it appeared in Geekbench last month. It has a 64-bit deca-core processor with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU sporting some combinations of Cortex-A72 and Cortex-A53 cores. As per the report, Meizu MX6 will sport a 1080p display of unknown size, 3GB RAM for multitasking, 32GB internal storage and Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with Flyme OS UI on top of it.

Prior to the official launch of MX6, which will likely happen later this year, the specifications may get changed by Meizu so take them with a grain of salt.
