There have been many speculations about the Microsoft Surface Phone lately and many have been wondering if there is really a Surface Phone in the works. Then just few days ago, Microsoft’s Chief Marketing Officer, Chris Capossela came ahead and confirmed Microsoft is indeed working on a ‘breakthrough’ handset which might be added to their surface-line.
Now there is some info about the device coming from one of the reliable leaksters on Weibo which the user shared few days back. The leakster says that Microsoft will be bringing the Surface Phone out in September 2016. He further adds that the device might come equipped with Intel’s Core M Processor to compete with the rivals.
There is no confirmed spec sheet at the moment. But according to the rumours, the said device is expected to come with a 5.5-inches (1440×2560) AMOLED ClearBlack display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, a 21MP PureView Zeiss 6-lens camera at the back and a 8MP Zeiss Wide-Angle camera at the front, USB Type-C, Wireless Charging and Aluminium & Magnesium unibody.
Just in case you skipped, a device was also spotted on HTML5test benchmarking site last month with name “MICROSOFT Surface Phone” which again hinted that Microsoft is really working on a Surface Phone.
